Kevin McKidd

Born in Elgin, Scotland, McKidd's breakout role came in 1996 when he starred as Tommy in Danny Boyle's cult classic film Trainspotting. Following this, he earned critical acclaim for his performances in films such as Hideous Kinky (1998) and Kingdom of Heaven (2005). On television, McKidd is perhaps most recognized for his portrayal of Dr. Owen Hunt on the long-running medical drama Grey's Anatomy. Prior to this, he played lead roles in series Rome (2005–2007), where he portrayed Lucius Vorenus, and Journeyman (2007). In addition to acting, McKidd is an accomplished director, having directed over 40 episodes of primetime television.

Charlotte Rutherford

Charlotte joined Kevin in early 2024 and has been building Ferryman’s slate of projects as well as running the day to day operations of the company. Born and bred in Aberdeen, Charlotte shares Kevin’s excitement and commitment to showcase Scottish talent on screen.

Prior to this, she held Head of Development roles at Raw TV and Expectation where she secured several script commissions with streamers and broadcasters, and over saw the development to green light of a returning crime series for Acorn/ZDF. 

In a freelance capacity as Story Producer and Script Editor, Charlotte has worked on projects for Sky Studios, Amazon, BBC, AMC, Channel 4 and ITV, as well as working on shows for Showtime & Paramount + in her role there as Creative Producer.
